Ambiguous love

She walks around ambivalently,
straying from journey's path.
She strews petals to find her way back
just in case
just in case

She is hoping to find him
while time is still on her side

The days turns dusky
the night brings new light
and the moon reflects brightly off the bald marble

Tired now,
she strays once more
petals combust by morning glare

And in the search
she is led to another..
another eye glistens
another ear listens

Memory weaves an elastic band
and promises outweigh the other.
Come another day.

Just come another day.
She proves to balance her way.
